Standing In The Gap is a subsidiary of Faye Capers Ministries. We are here to provide information and support to families who have children that have developmental disabilities and or special health care needs. We can also provide information for professionals that work with these families.

I am the parent of a child who was born with Downs Syndrome. For those of you who do not know what that is, it is a chromosome abnormality. He is now 44 years old and he is a blessing to everyone he meets. Children are a heritage from the LORD. The fruit of the womb is a reward. (Psalm 127:3) He is definitely a blessing to me and our family. He has always been my example of unconditional love, God's kind of love (Agape).

Faye desires to help families gain knowledge about the information and resources that are available to them. God says in His word that "my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). So you can see why knowledge is so powerful. A lot of families out there are in that situation, however we are here to help them learn how to navigate the system.
